So, I’m really looking forward to the new Joanna Newsom album, which is due here in the UK on the 22nd February.
In the meantime I have discovered a great album by Laura Veirs. Check out July Flame (spotify).
It’s very beautiful, but nicely understated. I’m going to make my way through her back catalogue, but for now this album is ideal. It’s not just a stopgap, but a nice unexpected find. Great stuff!
